Our Writers' Circle participants meet in a relaxed and informal setting to share their work in progress.
The community enjoys supportive critique and conversation about their scripts at our monthly meet-ups, and share external opportunities both local and national.

WNT Actors' Jam
Our Actors' Jam is a pressure-free evening open to experienced actors.
Musicians are known to get together and jam with their instruments. Actors Jam is the same idea but for actors to flex their performance muscles!
With no preparation required, the evening offers a friendly environment to explore short pieces of new and established writing.
No need to stress about memorising lines or perfecting scenes here. It's all about embracing spontaneity, making bold character choices, and then sharing with the group for supportive feedback.

WNT Open Calls for New Writing
Waste Not Theatre's Open Call Writers' are hosted twice a year.
The events give budding writer the opportunity to hear their work read aloud by our actors.
It doesn't matter if you've never written before, or if you're an expert in finely crafted miniature stories...we want to hear from you!
