Established in 2017 by former members of the Old Vic Community Company, Waste Not Theatre set out to become a flexible, multi-disciplinary theatre company.

 

Originally led by dynamic trio Mike, Liz and Wendy, we nurture new writing and develop performances across genres, with bold narratives at their core.

 

With an emphasis on collaboration, we encourage people to step outside their comfort zones and support people to develop into all round theatre makers.

 

Often we make and perform our work in non-traditional venues. Pop-up, temporary, ephemeral, half-way, or "found" ... that's how we like it.

 

We bring a professional mindset, and a commitment to excellence, with a passion for theatre at the heart of everything we do.

In 2023, we became less a theatre company and more a production company. Reflecting this shift, we established a 'company limited by guarantee' under Directors Rob and Sam, with additional members Kevin, Scott, Miles, Cici and Adam. In 2025, Miles took over the reins as sole Director.
